Conference Platform

The 2021 Spring to Life conference is being held live online utilizing a multimedia webcast and virtual conference platform to livestream the keynote, plenary sessions and ancillary events along with moderated Q&A panel discussions. The conference will be recorded and will be offered on-demand for 30 days following the conference.

ABOUT THE PROGRAM

Spring to Life™ is an annual free program for patients who have been diagnosed with cancer, as well as their families, companions, and caregivers. Healthcare professionals are welcome and encouraged to participate in the afternoon patient-centered sessions.
Each year, patients and their loved ones join national experts, community oncologist/hematologists, and social workers to share stories and improve understanding in a supportive environment. The theme of the 2021 program is Three “C”s: Coping with Cancer during the COVID-19 Pandemic.
The Conference is being held in Eastern Daylight Time
  • 10:00am – 10:20am: Introduction to Palliative Care in the Support of Quality of Life in Cancer Care (Ellen Gokey NP/Catherine Markey LCSW)
  • 10:25am – 10:55am: Pandemic Challenges and Coping Tools for Cancer Patients (Janine Murphy MSW, Yoga instructor)
  • 11:00 am– 12:00pm: Panel and Audience “Chat” (Christine Webber LMSW, Meg Guzda NP, Dr. Zackon, Dr. George)
